Roman Bogatov Takes On Abdulmutalip Gairbekov At BRAVE CF 51

Roman Bogatov has a serious opponent in front of him for his BRAVE Combat Federation Featherweight debut. The Russian contender will face off compatriot Abdulmutalip Gairbekov in a main card bout set for BRAVE CF 51: The Future Is Here. The show takes place in Minsk, Belarus, on June 4th.

After starting off his career with an impressive 10-1 record, including capturing regional titles in his native Russia, Bogatov made his promotional debut at BRAVE CF 46, and had a great performance, dominating a tough Nurzhan Akishev, en route to a unanimous decision victory.

That fight was contested at a 68kg Catchweight, providing a sample of what’s to come for Bogatov, who spent the majority of his career at Lightweight and is now dropping down officially to Featherweight to face off against Gairbekov.

It won’t be an easy task for Roman, though, as Abdulmutalip has forged a very strong record, with 15 wins, only two losses, and one draw to his name. The Dagestan native is coming in to his BRAVE CF debut on the back of a monumental 13-fight win streak, and hoping to immediately credential himself as a top contender at 66kg.

BRAVE CF 51: The Future Is here will take place in association with Rukh Sports Management, and will be headlined by a huge Lightweight match-up, with former world champion Lucas ‘’Mineiro’’ Martins taking on German-Moroccan rising star Marcel Grabinski.
