Sean Climaco Gets To Show Wares at ONE 168: Denver

Fil-Am Muay Thai fighter Sean “The One” Climaco returns to action, this time in the United States as he takes on Johan “Panda Kick” Estupinan at ONE 168: Denver at Ball Arena this Sept. 7.

This will serve as an encore for the rising star as he aims to move up the ranks in the loaded flyweight Muay Thai division of The Home of Martial Arts.

Climaco is coming in hot after knocking out Josue “Tuzo” Cruz in round one of their bout at ONE Fight Night 22: Sundell vs. Diachkova and he wants more blood.

Doing so in front of a massive audience in the US, however, will be a game-changer as this pushes his fame to a whole new level while also proving that ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon has plenty of challengers left in his weight class.

Climaco’s path, however, won’t be a walk in the park with Estupinan standing in his way.

The Colombian striker, the first ONE Championship signee from the Latin American country, has been on a tear since his arrival, winning his last two fights including a unanimous decision victory against Zafer Sayik at ONE: 167: Tawanchai vs. Nattawut II.

This Muay Thai showdown bolsters an already loaded card which will see ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Jonathan “The General” Haggerty putting his World Title on the line against ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek Kiatmoo9.

Also featured are the ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Championship defense of Kade Ruotolo against ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Champion Mikey Musumeci, and the dream match between Muay Thai legends Liam Harrison and Seksan Or Kwanmuang.
