BRAVE CF 71 has two Filipino stars ready to travel to Bahrain for the first time and represent their countries on BRAVE CF 71, which takes place on June 19, in the Arab island.
Ruel Panales and Kenneth Maningat takes on Maysara Mohamed and Abdulla Al-Yaqoob, respectively. However, Maningat might not have a fight, as according to Arabs MMA, Al-Yaqoob has gone missing.
As per the report, Al-Yaqoob has missed interviews with a few outlets and his coaches can’t find him as time is ticking for fighters check-in in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Fight Game Asia has checked with sources and has confirmed Arabs MMA’s report: Abdulla Al-Yaqoob has not been located by officials or coaches.
Nevertheless, Maningat remains locked in as he looks for his first BRAVE CF victory after a disappointing start to his promotional career, when he succumbed to a second-round submission from UFC-bound Asu Almabaev.
However, Maningat, who trains under the legendary Rolando Dy at DY Incredible Team, impressed BRAVE CF enough for his bravery in taking the fight on short notice and received a long-term contract.
