BRAVE CF 57 Official Poster Released Highlighting Three Title Fights

BRAVE Combat Federation returns on March 11th for its 57th edition with a stellar fight card to kick off 2022 in style. The fastest-growing promotion in the world has released the official poster for BRAVE CF 57, featuring the three world title fights that headline the show.

In the main event of the evening, Arab superstar Hamza Kooheji will look to become the first Bahrain-born champion of the world as he takes on SBG Ireland’s Brad Katona for the vacant Bantamweight championship of the world.

Before both men enter the BRAVE CF Arena, however, one of the biggest rivalries in Arab MMA history. Middleweight world champion Mohammad Fakhreddine takes on Algeria legend Mohamed Said Maalem for the vacant Light Heavyweight title.

The two men first met in Milan, Italy, at BRAVE CF 52, but Said Maalem’s win was overturned due to illegal blows that were identified afterwards by the Italian MMA Commission. That means the belt remains vacant and Fakhreddine gets a second crack at becoming the first-ever two-weight BRAVE CF world champion.

Finally, former Lightweight titleholder Amin Ayoub will get a chance to taste gold once again as he faces Abdisalam Kubanychbek for the interim 155-pound title, as Ahmed Amir, the reigning titleholder, is out due to injury.

BRAVE CF 57 takes place in the Kingdom of Bahrain, on March 11th, as part of the 2022 edition of the BRAVE International Combat Week. The largest combat sports festival in Asia will also feature the first-ever edition of the MMA Super Cup, the only nation vs nation amateur competition that will have a cash prize of US$225,000 to be divided to the top three national federations of the tournament to reinvest in the development of the sport on a national level.
