Ismail Naurdiev Opens New Career Chapter At BRAVE CF 50

BRAVE Combat Federation will be rolling out the red carpet for one of the up-and-coming stars in the world of mixed martial arts.

On Thursday, April 1, Ismail “The Austrian Wonderboy” Naurdiev is set to make his much-awaited debut under the promotion’s banner at BRAVE CF 50 in Bahrain as part of the talent-filled super welterweight division.

The 24-year-old phenom is slated to challenge Jarrah Hussein Al-Silawi for the BRAVE CF Super Welterweight World Championship in the headliner of the said monumental event, which will broadcast live from the Bahraini historic site of Arad Fort.

Naurdiev is regarded as of the most sought-after prospects to emerge from Europe as he owns an impressive professional standing of 20-4 with an 80 percent finishing rate. In addition, he has won 11 of his 24 outings via knockout, with ten of it happening in the first round.

“The Austrian Wonderboy” looks to log his name in history books by capturing the prestigious hardware at the expense of Al-Silawi, who regained the intricately-crafted belt by outpointing rival Abdoul Abdouraguimov by way of unanimous decision in their October 2019 rematch.

Moreover, Al-Silawi is riding on a huge wave of momentum after his successful one-off middleweight appearance against Melvin van Suijdam at BRAVE CF 43 in October of last year.

Naurdiev is expected to have his hands full versus the well-rounded Al-Silawi on Thursday, but if he comes out triumphant, he will usher a new era in the organization’s stacked 175-pound weight class that was recently beefed up with the signings of Axel Sola, Kamal Magomedov, Andreas Stahl, Nursulton Ruziboev and Luis Felipe Dias.
