Kyrgyzstan Dominates Asian MMA Showdown at BRAVE CF 47

BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination marked one of the most successful chapters of the nation of Kyrgyzstan inside the BRAVE Combat Federation Arena. With three fighters representing the country, Kyrgyz athletes left the arena in Arad, Kingdom of Bahrain, this Thursday (11) with three wins.

In the main event of the evening, Abdisalam Kubanychbek showed up in his best form so far inside the BRAVE CF Arena and completely dominated Rolando Dy, securing his Lightweight title shot in the process.

Winning pretty much every exchange taking place against a highly decorated boxer, Omok was too much for Rolando to handle and after two rounds of aggressiveness and dominance from the Kyrgyz side, the Filipino’s corner threw the towel before the beginning of the third round.

With the triumph, Kubanychbek proved that he’s ready to face the winner of the scheduled world title bout between the reigning champion Amin Ayoub and the challenger Ahmed Amir.

In one of the most shocking results of the night, Kyrgyzstan’s own Nemat Abdrashitov got a huge upset against the heavily favorite Anzor Abdulkhozhaev, from Russia, with a second-round TKO. Nemat’s win was also impressive in its manner: he was almost choked out by Anzor, and only moments after escaping, he connected with a surprising blow, that put Abdulkhozhaev away.

The third Kyrgyz fighter to step into the cage was Ryskulbek Ibraimov. The rising star faced Jenel Lausa and won in dominant fashion, with a unanimous decision victory (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).
