President Mohammed Shahid Guarantees Title Shot To Kubanychbek Vs. Dy Winner

BRAVE Combat Federation’s Asian Domination show will be headlined by two of the top Lightweights in the continent in Abdisalam Kubanychbek, from Kyrgyzstan, and Filipino hero Rolando Dy. However, more than the right to be called Asia’s number on 115-pounder, the main event of BRAVE CF 47 will decide the next contender for BRAVE CF’s Lightweight world title.

The prize for the winner was announced and reiterated by BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid, who hailed the influence both fighters have had during 2020, with Kubanychbek earning a huge win, and Rolando Dy becoming the Fighter Of The Year awards.

‘’The biggest Asian talents will get the opportunity to become the best in the world. The main event of the night are two fighters who have peaked during these tough Covid-19 times. They didn’t let any excuse or challenges come in their way (…) Whoever wins is guaranteed to have their next fight be for the Lightweight world championship belt’’, said Shahid, who also made it a point to break down Kubanychbek and Dy and their achievements.

‘’Abdisalam is the biggest talent in Kyrgyzstan’s Lightweight division. This fight will make him the biggest male name in MMA history for his country. On the other hand, Rolando Dy is a veteran of the sport, and has represented the Philippines at the top for years. His peak in 2020 makes it the best time to turn that experience into an opportunity to become the most successful fighter of his country. The only thing in front of him is the March 11th main event’’

Aside from the two top Lightweights in Asia battling out for a shot at the world title, BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination will also feature an epic Featherweight bout, with young superstar Tae Kyun Kim, from South Korea, taking on Husein Kadimagomaev in a battle of undefeated fighters.
