Philippines’ own Rolando ‘’Dy Incredible’’ Dy scored an amazing victory over Poland’s Maciej Gierszewski and returned to the winning column after two straight losses under the BRAVE CF banner. Dy was in action at BRAVE CF 42, the second of three Kombat Kingdom events that the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world is putting on in its home in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Dy started off against the much-larger Maciej looking for a takedown, however he didn’t get it, but still scored a lot of points with his striking. Magic Man was more interested in trading kicks and punches, but was overwhelmed in the first round.
The Polish fighter started stronger in the second frame, scoring with hard leg kicks that Dy was just able to absorb. In the third round, however, Rolando went for several in-fight combinations, and insisted on a takedown, which Gierszewski was able to defend.
In the end, Rolando came out victorious by split decision, and is now looking forward to his next bout inside the BRAVE CF cage.
