BRAVE CF’s Welterweight Division Is Stacked And Full Of Hungry Contenders

BRAVE Combat Federation is known around the globe for its world-class scouting program, and for discovering talent like no other promotion in the business. After launching a number of athletes to stardom, all eyes are now on the organization’s Welterweight division.

Led by world champion Jarrah Al-Selawe, arguably the best Arab fighter in the world, the weight class is packed and set to produce some of the most exciting fights in the next months.

Apart from Al-Selawe, two of his former foes are set to meet soon. France’s submission specialist Abdoul Abdouraguimov and England’s striking powerhouse Carl “The Bomber” Booth will headline BRAVE CF’s second iteration in Sweden, in a fight that is likely to set the next title contender, although no official word yet from the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world has cemented that fight as a number one contender’s bout.

Joining them at the high ranks of the Welterweight division is Switzerland knockout artist Kevin Ruart, who is currently on a seven-win streak and won his most-recent bout via first-round-knockout against Ion Surdu, at BRAVE CF 36, in Romania. Ruart has dynamite in his hands and has become known as KO machine during his time with BRAVE CF, as both of his victories have gone viral for the way he dismantles his opponents. Aside from Surdu, Ruart also knocked out Ibrahim Mane late last year at BRAVE CF 31.

Last week, at BRAVE CF 37, another name rose up to the list of future contenders at Welterweight. Submission specialist Louis Glismann dominated Henri Lintula in the main event of the organization’s first-ever Sweden show, handing the Finnish jiu-jitsu black belt his first pro loss.

With the win, Glismann immediately put himself in contention, as he joins the likes of the aforementioned Kevin Ruart, Carl Booth and Abdoul Abdouraguimov at the top of the food chain at Welterweight.

Joining them are veterans Leonardo Mafra, Tahar Hadbi, and Hayder Hassan, who are also one or two wins away from joining the pack of top Welterweights at BRAVE CF.

With a handful of key fights coming up and many names in contention for a shot against the kingpin Al-Selawe, BRAVE CF’s Welterweight division is definitely one to keep an eye on moving forward.
