Adur Injured, Out of Flyweight Tournament Bout Against Gordon in Brazil

Marcel Adur is out of his upcoming BRAVE CF Flyweight Tournament quarter-final bout against Malcolm “X” Gordon in Balneário Camboriú, Brazil. Adur suffered an injury during his training camp and won’t be able to compete on March 28th.

The information was confirmed by official BRAVE CF sources and Adur’s camp. The nature of the injury, though, was not disclosed by any parts. The athlete and his team also did not mention how long the Brazilian prospect will be sidelined.

BRAVE CF is yet to confirm what’s going to be the future of the Flyweight Tournament quarter-final in which Marcel was involved, if Malcolm Gordon will get a new opponent with only 3 weeks notice or if the bout between Adur and Gordon will simply be postponed.

BRAVE CF 35, in Balneário Camboriú, still counts with the other half of BRAVE CF Flyweight Tournament Group A: the quarter-final between Jose “Shorty” Torres and Matheus Nicolau.

The event, marking the fifth visit of BRAVE Combat Federation to Brazil, will take place on March 28 and will be headlined by the Lightweight title fight between the champion Cleiton “Predator” Silva and the challenger Guram Kutateladze.
