BRAVE Combat Federation’s first-ever event in Sweden had a huge announcement for its main event. It was revealed that BRAVE CF 37, which will take place on April 18th in association with AK Fighting Championships, will have a title fight as its headliner. World champion Jarrah Al-Selawe will take on Khamzat Chimaev for all the marbles.
One of Chimaev’s main training partners, MMA legend Alexander Gustafsson was the first to report the title fight being official, and he’s very excited for the event, which will be, in his opinion, the biggest of the year in Sweden.
Through his personal Instagram account, “The Mauler” was full of praise for the match-up, claiming it would be the biggest fight of the year in his home country of Sweden.
The number one pound-for-pound fighter in the Middle East, Jarrah Al-Selawe will look to make the first defense of his second reign as world champion. He takes on Khamzat Chimaev, the biggest prospect in Europe, in a fight that will have intense repercussions on BRAVE CF and in the world rankings as a whole, as two of the best athletes of their divisions meet in their prime.
BRAVE CF 37 takes place alongside AK Fighting Championships at the Solnahallen, in Stockholm, Sweden – the European country will become the 20th nation to feature a BRAVE Combat Federation show.
