Featherweight Title on the Line at GLORY 75 UTRECHT in February

Amsterdam – World featherweight champion Petchpanomrung (163-36-3, 27 KO’s) will defend his belt against Serhii Adamchuk (40-11, 15 KO’s) in the main event of GLORY 75 UTRECHT on Saturday, February 29.

The co-main event will feature two of the welterweight division’s most effective fight-finishers as Hamicha (38-2, 28 KO’s) takes on the Russian power-puncher Dmitrii Menshikov (23-2, 18 KO’s).

Also confirmed for the card are a middleweight contest between two-time title challenger Yousri Belgaroui (26-6, 13 KO’s) and Germany’s Jakob Styben (16-2, 7 KO’s) and a lightweight contest between top contender Tyjani Beztati (19-4, 6 KO’s) and rising threat Michaël Palandre (30-3, 12 KO’s).

Petchpanomrung will be making his fourth defense of the title, which he took from Robin van Roosmalen at GLORY 59. This will be his third meeting with former champion Adamchuk, who held the belt in 2015.

Hamicha, ranked #2 at welterweight, is 2-0 in GLORY and has stopped both of his opponents in the first round while Menshikov, ranked #4, is 3-0 in GLORY and has also won all three of those fights by first round knockout.

Belgaroui, ranked #4, has twice challenged for the middleweight title but failed to dislodge reigning champion Alex Pereira. Coming off a win over Ulric Bokeme in his last outing, he seeks to secure a second consecutive win as he faces Germany’s Styben, who is coming off a win over Kevin van Heeckeren.

In October, Beztati challenged lightweight champion Marat Grigorian for the lightweight title but lost a decision after five rounds. He now seeks to start a new journey to title contention in 2020 as he faces France’s Palandre, who has gone 3-1 in GLORY and has the chance to take a huge leap in prominence if he wins here.

GLORY 75 UTRECHT is GLORY’s first event of the 2020 calendar and will see the promotion return to the Central Studios complex in Utrecht, Netherlands for the first time since last year’s GLORY 65 event.
