A late-notice change to the BRAVE CF 31 fight card has been made, as John Cris Corton has been forced to pull out of his scheduled co-main event spot against Dansheel Moodley for BRAVE Combat Federation’s return to South Africa, due to undisclosed reasons. “Mamu” will now face Sweden’s Anton Larsson.
Known as “Crazy Thai” because of his wild fighting style, Larsson brings a different flavor to the fight card as he will look to exploit the difference between Corton’s style and his own and get a winning debut on short notice.
For Moodley, the change means less weight to cut, since both camps have agreed that, due to shortness of time, a Catchweight of 128 lbs (58 kgs) will be in place for the special feature bout.
BRAVE CF 31 takes place on December 7th, this Saturday, at the Sibaya Casino, in Durban, South Africa, and marks the return of the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world to the continent of Africa.
For the first time in African MMA history, a world title will be on the line as South Africa’s Chad Hanekom meets Daniel Gaucho for the inaugural Middleweight world belt in the main event of BRAVE CF 31.
