Webb vs. Frederick II Confirmed For London

One of the closest middleweight title fights in Cage Warriors history gets a re-run on November 22nd, when reigning champion James Webb takes on Nathias ‘Notorious’ Frederick for the second time this year.

Will it be repeat or revenge at Cage Warriors London?

The two men shared a controversial majority draw last time out, with James Webb keeping the title in London after a 5-round war at CW106: Night of Champions.

Now, the score will be settled once and for all, when ‘Notorious’ gets his second chance to bring the title back to Birmingham and Webb will look to cement his status as the top Middleweight in Europe.

In their first outing, Webb was able to secure numerous takedowns but Frederick’s sheer physical strength and agility kept the Champion from locking in one of his infamous submissions.

The re-match will undoubtedly be a game of inches.

“I won’t need the judges this time,” said the champion, whose 6 previous wins have all come within the distance.

Cage Warriors have a history of developing rising stars in the capital, including former champion Nathaniel Wood, who now competes in the UFC’s bantamweight division. Also confirmed at the Indigo at the O2 on November 22nd are Sam Creasey, Steve ‘Diddy Kong’ Aimable, Nathan Jones and more.
