Roel Rosauro Finds New Inspiration As He Awaits Arrival Of His Newborn Baby

Filipino standout Roel “Akiyama” Rosauro is more motivated to succeed in his martial arts journey with the expected arrival of his second child.

Rosario shared that he and his wife Almira who just spilled the good news last month, are both excited to see and welcome their second-born.

Rosauro, who is currently on deep training to stay fit and ready while waiting for his next assignment, cannot contain the happiness that he is feeling with the coming of his youngest this coming January.

Wishing to have a baby boy this time, Rosario admits that he is thrilled that his family is getting bigger, despite the enormous challenge waiting for him of raising his new baby.

“I am overjoyed. My wife broke the news to me that another baby is on the way for us,” said Rosauro.

“I’ve always dreamt of a big family and I’m happy that it’s starting to happen. This is another reason for me to work double-time.”

“I know it’s not gonna be easy but this is a blessing from God and I know that he won’t put us in this position if I don’t have the capacity to raise them well.”

Still hunting for the elusive win since joining the ONE Championship roster, Rosauro believes that this new blessing that was given to him will become his lucky charm on turning his career in an upward trajectory.

The former Filipino national muay thai silver medalist also admits that he feels hungrier than ever since he already have tons of dreams being visualized for his two kids.

“Maybe I can finally get the results that I truly want. He isn’t even here yet but I have big dreams for him and my daughter,” Rosaruro shared.

“It won’t be easy but with perseverance and hard work, I can fulfill my dreams for my children, my family and myself.”

Rosauro, who is now waiting for a call from the ONE Championship bosses for his next match, was last seen inside the ONE Circle last May 2018 when he squared off with Indonesian “Terminator” Sunoto at ONE: UNSTOPPABLE DREAMS in Singapore.

However, he was dominated by the Indonesian in all three rounds en route to a unanimous decision loss for the Filipino warrior.

Despite the recent results not favoring him, Rosauro is confident that the best is yet to come in his career.

“I know that I’ve had a lot of shortcomings in my previous bouts, that’s why I’ve been training really hard for the past year,” Rosauro shared.

“Especially now since there’s an upcoming blessing. I’ll pour everything in so I can succeed and provide for my family.”
