Harold Banario is finally set for his Brave Combat Federation debut. And the Filipino star will fight at home as he takes on former amateur world champion Gamzat Magomedov, in a Bantamweight bout at BRAVE CF 22: Storm of Warriors. The groundbreaking show takes place on March 15th at the iconic Mall of Asia Arena, in Manila, Philippines.
A stalwart of Team Lakay, the biggest Filipino MMA gym, Banario was supposed to make his promotional debut back at BRAVE CF 20, last December, in India. However, he was forced off his scheduled bout against Angad Bisht and was rescheduled against Magomedov.
A brother of MMA star Honorio Banario, Harold hasn’t competed in over three years and holds a record of four wins against only one defeat. He hopes to join in the likes of Bantamweight champion Stephen Loman and fellow Team Lakay prospect Jeremy Pacatiw on the BRAVE CF roster.
Banario takes on former IMMAF amateur gold medalist Gamzat Magomedov. Hailing from Russia, Magomedov made his BRAVE CF debut back in October of last year. At the time, he ended up disqualified against JP Buys after a low blow during their BRAVE CF 17 fight. The KHK MMA prospect looks to get back to winning ways against Banario and hopes for his first victory under the BRAVE CF banner.
Harold will join his teammate Stephen Loman in the historic fight card. “The Sniper” looks to defend his Bantamweight crown for a third consecutive time, as takes on Elias Boudegzdame in the main event.
