Filipina MMA superstar Gina “Conviction” Iniong put herself back in the winning column after dominating Jenny Huang of Chinese Taipei in their three-round atomweight fight at the ONE Championship ONE: Heroes of Honor at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila.
The 28-year-old Baguio native who hails from the acclaimed Team Lakay, was simply too much for her Taiwanese foe resulting to unanimous decision victory for the Filipina warrior.
Coming from a tough unanimous decision loss in her last fight against Japanese rival Mei “V.V” Yamaguchi in their rematch at ONE: IMMORTAL PURSUIT last November, Iniong made sure that she wont disappoint her Filipino fans this time, as her superior stand-up and ground game was very evident in her three-round war against Huang.
With this victory, Iniong improves her record to 7 wins with 3 losses, while Huang drops her third straight fight and now holds a professional record of 5-3.
