Edward Kelly of Team Lakay knocks out Cambodian foe in first round at ONE: Global Superheroes

Rising featherweight Edward “The Ferocious” Kelly of Team Lakay made a quick work of his undefeated Cambodian opponent Meas Meul in their preliminary bout at ONE: Global Superheroes.

The 33-year-old Baguio native scored a thundering head kick 21 seconds in the first round prompting the referee to quickly stop the fight.

The hard hitting Kelly waste no time after the opening bell rang as he quickly chase down his Cambodian foe. After throwing series of combinations an unexpected high kick from Kelly found the Jaw of Meul that land him face first unconsciously in the middle of the fighting cage.

With the knockout victory the younger Kelly who’s brother will be fighting later in the main card improves his record to 10 wins with 4 losses while his opponent Meas Meul drops down to 6-1 after getting his first professional loss.
