ONE Championship has just announced in a press release that Singaporean singer and actor Nathan Hartono will be performing live at ONE: Defending Honor which takes place this Friday, 11 November at the Singapore Indoor stadium.
Hartono is a 25-year-old actor and singer who was born and raised in Singapore.
He made his singing debut after winning the Teenage Icon competition back in 2005. A year later, he released his debut album, LET ME SING! Life, Love and All That Jazz. This year he became the first runner-up in the first season of Sing! China. Just recently, Hartono also tried his hand at acting, starring in his first ever television series, Halfworlds.
“Singapore just got a dose of star power as pop sensation Nathan Hartono is set to perform at Asia’s biggest fight night this Friday,” said ONE Championship CEO, Victor Cui.
“Nathan is a tremendous Singaporean talent and we are happy to have him become part of this amazing event.”
ONE Championship has combined the world of music with the adrenaline-pumping action of mixed martial arts (MMA) in recent years, and the results have been phenomenal. Just recently, the company signed a multiple collaboration partnership with Universal Music (UMG) which gives ONE access to the biggest music stars for their live shows.
Their shows in Bangkok and Jakarta earlier this year featured popular Asian acts and this time, Hartono is set to showcase his talent to his hometown Singapore.
